ahh cool - I was the opposite - I almost ordered a 250swb when they first built it - then found mine and opted for that

I still would want a Fiorano as well!
And a JZR trike, and another pre-lit Westfield.

So I'm now on my way with the new front end remodelling process - made a 'unicorn nest' using expanding foam - cut it back and now trying to fill and sand ove and over to get it all the right shape ...

Amazing transformation. Good work.
Do you intend to make a mold & new part, or simply fiberglass and scrape the foam out?

cheers, I'm going to have a mold made so that it's fully fiberglass and not just made of lots of filler - plus if it ever gets damaged I can have another made easily

It looks quite good Paul. My only concern is whether the smaller aperture will flow enough air for cooling. Although, I suppose twin electric fans would redress that problem.

Very nice! Good move to have a mold made of the new nose.
Really improved the "look".

Brilliant. The badge hole looks like the entry point for the starting handle.

It does.
Simply stuff a section of rad hose in the hole and it will look the part. Even a hunk of PVC tube would work.

A piece of white perspex with a warm white LED behind it, Wolsey style.

Hi guys ... ok opinions!!
please see the pictures below. - this is the 'Buck' if you like - it's shaped with foam and filler and then just painted roughly .... so it's not the finished front - if I think this is working then I'll then take this to get a mould and copy made.
However I think the grill apperture is slightly off centre .... I'm not sure wether I'll be able to do it any better if I try and make another 'buck' ... so the question is - is this good enough or do I go to the time and expense of making another buck in the hope that I can get it slightly better next time?
thanks

Difficult to tell from the pictures, but from experience, you really need to make the call yourself.

If you're happy with the way it looks then go ahead and have the mould and new nose made.

But, if you think there's any chance that you'll always look at the front and wish you'd done it differently, then bite the bullet and keep changing it until you are happy with it. Otherwise you'll be stripping it down and starting again in a year or two anyway.

Looks good but thre grill needs to be in better condition. How about a modern Jaguar S type grill, should be a lot cheaper.

Would look good with a big pair of F off chrome headlights

cheers guys .... I think it's actually the grill that's not symmetrical, it must have had some sort of 'bump' in the past I think.

.... but I sort of like the fact that it's a bit battered - I think makes the car look more authentic .... like an old vintage racer (and it's cheaper than buying a immaculate mk 2 grill)
