Default Base vehicle

Hi all,

Will be placing an mx250 order soon so am hunting a good base. From experience doing builds on wrecks is the most demoralizing part of a build, is £1200 for a tidy eunos going to get a decent base?
Should I go for a 1.6 or 1,8?

I paid £600 for my mx5 with an mot. Drove it back 200 miles fine. I had to have some welding done on the sills but i was lazy and paid a welder £50 to do it. Its a great car. I suppose the 1.8 is best but you can squeeze loads out of the1.6. Good luck with your build.

Hi Mike

Welcome aboard.

Great link and all very sound advice. If you want to do the service and repairs yourself, buy a £500 car, if not, spend the £1200. Try and buy the car with the most solid rear wheels arch/sill area that you can. Imports all the way.

Good news Mike. Green with tan leather? Or is it Red? You are on the production board, just let me know a date in May that you want to pick up your kit.

Tan leather would have been good, went for black interior in the end. Chris, will give you a call re collection, thanks for the reminder.
