Got some goodies in the post from Europa today. Just waiting for some hole cutting tools and work can start on the rear. Getting the roll cage powder coated tomorrow as it needs doing which was a little disappointing it wasn't already but heyho.

Thinking about the connection to the new petrol filling cap has anybody got any links or tips on what to use to extend the fuel filler hose. Do I just get rid of the old one and get a complete new pipe ?

So managed to do a few more jobs, first off the lights have been drilled, just need fitting in when the cars all painted. Fuel filler cap and filler hose done and headlining installed, all ready now just to start bonding the rear on.

Curious as to what you are using for headliner material...

Roof on and sides bonded and riveted. Also got some longer rivets and did the roof, can only help and you don't see them from the inside once the plastic panel is back on. Now to get filling....

Thought I would skip the filling for now so started fitting the front end which doesn't seem too bad and the kit seemed to go on ok. The gaps between the door and the front seem a little questionable so will need re shaping so it's nice and close but also not catching on the door. Ordered bonnet hinges and front pins and will probably need lots of work to get the bonnet to sit neatly and smoothly on all edges and corners. Going to use the original wiper points so the left top will need cutting out slightly so the wiper arm doesn't catch on the body kit.

Hopefully will be able to get time to pull the car out and take some side pictures this week once the snow stops !

Been watching a ton of uTube clips around filling so hopefully it'll go ok..fingers crossed

You can extend the spindles through the kit too, which can make for a cleaner finish.

It's been a while but managed to get some filling done on the rear panel. It's. It perfect but a glaze ontop should make it smooth as glass hopefully

Yep. Never ending ! Still filling and Sanding and filling and sanding. Didn't actually realise how many imperfections are in the kit. Just when I think I've finished one section you notice more holes and dints. I know I'm getting there but gosh it's taking forever ! At least I managed to break off and attach the rear hinges and lock to the boot lid.

So with this nice weather managed to get filling and sanding on the front light pods. One side had no shape at all really and they both didn't match so done my best to match these up. Also started fitting the bonnet which also needed a little filler around the front edges but will also need sanding a little at the side and back to give good space when painted

Finally see some light from the end of the tunnel with all the filling and sanding. It's not perfect but will leave that to the body shop, but I've done all I can and to be fair it looks pretty good, just difficult to tell with it being Matt.
