Hi Chris, thanks for your time today, especially with the Newark Show imminent.
I was really impressed with the car. Its a quality moulding, the fit is excellent, and proportionally perfect. It looks good in the pictures, but even better up close. A true piece of Italian exotica! Nice job.
Anyone want to buy a Burlington Arrow?
cheers,
Nick
Ps the link now works!

Thanks Nick, kind words indeed.
Do I need to "sign in" to view the pictures?

Retouched images of MX250
Hi Nick, as promised on Saturday I have done a couple of quick Photoshop retouches to show the car minus the front/rear vents and a rolled front grille opening. I think I actually prefer it over the original. Let me know what you think.

(pushes Nick out of the way).......
Cheers for your time yesterday Chris,
I'm in love with the kit too! Sadly not as 'well heeled' as Nick, my order will have to wait till later in the year
BUT, do you think a vent-less rear quarter and a Aston-esque front end will be much grief to offer? I think that's the look I would want to go for.....

Still can't access your pictures by the way.

Good to meet you yesterday. As you already have the base car it's a logical step.
Now that the front end idea is out of my head and "on paper" I am going to have to go for it. Our moulds are split into about 20+ sections partly for this reason. It makes doing a localised change relatively easy, we will only have to change one section to achieve the new look front end and 2 new "ventless" inserts at the rear.

Looks really nice!
I definitely like the ventless look, much cleaner and I never liked the idea of adding in vents for looks. It makes it look like it's own unique design instead of a replica.
That and my build is a all electric conversion so I don't need that silly cooling and will end up filling and fairing all the vents up front anyway.

Finally fixed the pic. Laptop is at work so its via my phone, which is a challenge.
As said above, the look really appeals now. It would be a good option. I am happy to do this but if you want to thats fine by me! You did mention the idea in a very early post! I reckon after Newark you will be busy so I had better get a deposit to you before then.
cheers,
Nick

Hi Kerry. Thank you for your comments. I will get you that delivery quote this week.
Nick. How did you get the 60's look to that photo?
Judging by peoples reaction to the smooth version I need to produce it soon. I think you are right about being busy after the show. And a deposit would go along way to making the new sections for the moulds. Thank you.

Hi Chris, the 60's look was from Photobuckets Snap option (android), then put it back into Picsay to crop out any modern cars. Then uploaded it back onto photobuccketDare not tell you how long it took me!

Hi Nick,
Dan started on the "smooth" version of the car for you today, plugging the rear vents with sheet pvc then skimming with filler. Rubbed down, pva sealer, then the moulds went back on ready to have a new section formed tomorrow. Once the mould is done we can produce the "smooth" version for anyone who want's the same. Front end mods to follow soon.
