Default Minilite wheels

Hi, I know I've seen one on here before but can anyone point me in the direction of a photo of a Sammio with Minilite wheels? I'm trying to decide if this is the way to go.

Is it a pic of Pat and his MGF wheels you're after? They look a bt like the classic minilights I think?

Hmm, yes. Minilite lookalikies are a reasonably decent wheel choice imho, if you're on a strict budget. Wires they ain't, though.

Other Useful Sammio Links Here.

By chance, my Spitfire donor came with a new set of these fitted.

Hope that helps, Paul.

possibly, i have also seen some wolfrace eurosport slotmags in 7 x 15

http://www.wolfrace.co.uk/eurosport_...hp?wheelID=244

and also in black with polished lip.

that match the period, as the slot mag was a 1970's wheels ...so whats the widest wheels tyre, (not necessarily larges diameter.. i dont want super low profile. that will fit under a spyder, to give it a retro sports look?

I've had another look at my donor's wheels and are a bit closer to the ones you linked.

No idea what they actually are.

I do have the centre caps in a box, but I can't remember if they are raised.

So overall, I am not much help at all really!!

me thinks the confusion may be between the reproductions of the original minilites, which your Spitfire seems to have, and the 'neo-minilites' from the MGF, as worn by the Sammios pictured
