Default kva chassis / countach body

After much research it turns out that my countach chassis is a KVA gtd chassis, is this going to cause problems when trying to register?
plus it has no chassis numbers !

Hi
I don't think you should have a problem with the actual registration process with the DVLA even if it has no chassis / VIN number.
You can contact the DVLA and they will allocate you a 17 digit VIN number as detailed here https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-registrat...ication-number.
This number can then be stamped into the chassis and a VIN plate fixed as per the regulations in section 18 "Statutory Plates" of the IVA inspection manual (basically on the right hand side of the chassis in characters not less than 3.5mm high)

The IVA test would be a different matter however.
One problem with the KVA chassis was that it was designed before the SAV / IVA requirements came into being and therefore may not comply with some of the regulations. I think your best bet would be to try to find out if anyone has managed to get a KVA through the IVA test, perhaps the GT40 Enthusiasts club could help https://www.gt40enthusiastsclub.com/
