Nice, love the seats. It looks like a bit of a bargain at only half a million quid. I'm surprised nobody's snapped it up to use in stock-car racing yet...

I really like this. Plenty of details but still manages to look uncluttered and elegant.

Yes, I'd noticed the cluttered dash too. Less is more imho.

I came across a rally during my vacation in italy, which featured cars like ferrari gto. O.s.c.a, astons, but the piece the resistance was
Really liked the simple dash layout!

I think that Maserati's popped up on here before, I'm sure Lancelot posted some pictures of the interior. I love it, particularly the inside detailing, and I'm building myself up to fabricating a similar gear lever gate for mine. Nice car, wonder what it's worth...

One is recently sold for a nasty 1.8 mln$....
I was amazed to see one used in a rally, in small mountain roads in the italian alps..

I have not ordered a kit yet.. Still gathering ideas, time and money.. But collecting nice-to-haves along the way..
I'm already designing a dash with vintage jaeger/smiths gauges, aircraftswitches, vintage motorcycle ignitionswitch etc..
Perhaps you like an item like this too ( already on the shelf..)

Nice gearknob, I've already got an aluminium ball knob though (ooh, matron!).
It's the 'H' gate gear lever shroud I'm wanting to replicate. It'll be a bit of a Blue Peter job though - I'm planning to use a plastic potato salad pot as the base with a moto-lita trim ring retaining the polished aluminium gate on top. It's so simple it might just work...

I think you'll find the lever movement on the Triumph box to be too small to work with an gated shift. Compared to a old Ferrari or Maserati gearboxes the Triumph unit is almost a precision instrument!

Here in the netherlands there are companies which use laser otmwater to cut any free form you upload to the site.
Examples http://www.cutcompany.nl/index.php?v...at=223&scat=50
Using alu or stainless can be polished to chrome-ish

Ahh, high pressure water/laser cut polished aluminium might just be a bit over my remaining budget of bugger all money
I had planned to dust off my long unused precision hand-tools skills and go at a spare sheet of ally with an abrafile saw and needle files.
I'd noticed the precision nature of the Triumph gearbox MoriniMan, but figured if I raise the top three or four inches up the lever using the potato salad pot, there'll be enough lever movement to justify a gate rather than something in corrugated rubber lifted from Fordson's finest.

I saw (and heard one) when I was racing for Lotus at Lime Rock back in Spring 1991. They had a cavalcade of classic cars - I thought it was a special bodied D Type, but the big V8 made me wonder.
