Should be quite easy to do too : The car would retain the Corvette targa top. AeroWagen bodywork replaces the original Corvette hatch utilizing the OEM seal, hinge and latch mechanisms

I wonder what other cars could be modified in this way?

Remove the old hatch and add the new body over the remaining hole...

Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo. Very cheap to buy and they don't tend to rust. 4WD and 4 wheel steering and a shape that already has a Ferrarish shape.

Awesome performance for vey little money.

My photoshop (MS Paint) skill might need a little tweaking to make it look pretty :-)

The one's that are left generally are pretty good. Main problems are hardening of valve stem oil seals, turbo's burning oil and gearbox synchro's going.
Ive had a lot of high performance cars over the years but the 3000GT (UK version of GTO but higher spec and bigger turbos) is something else, heavy car but once you wind it up

Not wanting to step on toes but has anyone tried using a rover p6 as a donor. The wings front and back come off and it has a v8 modor. Maybe a Ferrari coupe could be made or indeed a muscle car with slightly higher haunches at the back. Make it a 3 door etc

Here's one for Chris
DB5

If you made it into a Volant I'm sure with a bit of jiggery pokery you could get it to sit on a standard Scimitar chassis.
A lot more practacle than an Auburn!

Hmm - Alarm bells here? Listed for a friend - yeah of course. On a shortened Scimitar chassis with V5 - so not of note because it will need an IVA.
Good try..

I think there will be little demand out there for the Auburn. Without a chassis to bolt it to the job is 10 fold more difficult to build. All very well saying it will simply "bolt on" to such and such chassis but it simply won't be that easy!

Its one of those cars you need to drop the suspension to the ground and put wide wheels on first then start the build. Quite an angular windscreen
