Default Keeping electric windows with 250 web?

What is the reason the windows change to sliders? Has anybody developed a metal frame that allows keeping the electric windows?

Welshkiwi has just gone down this route with his modified 275 kit. take a look at his build thread. I would think similar mods could be done to the 250 kit.
