what is the proper tyre presure for a spyder taking in to account the lighter body?

As I recall with 175/80/14 Uniroyal RainExpert's fitted all round I went with 30psi front, 28psi rear.

With 175/70/14 Kumho mud & snow tyres fitted the pressures had to be much lower - 24psi front and 22psi rear or the car felt uncontrollable.

Without a manufacturer's handbook, trial and error is the way forward and/or sideways...
