Hiya JG

Quote:
Was it yourself that submitted the picture of the 'Sad Nova Owner', I can change the wording if not...
Nope! Wasn't me who submitted them. Some are pretty old, and the comments naf Like the one with the rear end like a painted dustbin "One of the best Novas around" No chance. But it's always good for debate. If you wanna change it to "Modified Nationals '06" you will be bang on

Sorry mate I seemed to have taken the thread of topic which was "Lots looking:----"

No need to do nothing in my opinion you have got a good forum. People only butt out when it gets cliquee "My cars better than your car" attitude to others.

Always will get the 80% dream factor as well, that don't/won't post.

CU at Stonleigh! Stick me on for a medium Tee shirt please

Many regards

DjH

Ok, changed the wording on that picture.

Don't lose faith, they are a great bunch here and very supportive.

Nice bit of advertising.

Hope you are paying John for this???????

BTW, your website is wrong. I think you need a 'V' instead of 'C'.

If you like we can stop posting? if it offends you we are just out to support forums and keep traffic coming to them evan if it is advertising for ourselves with the 40% drop within the kit car market over the last 4 years we are shocked when people slate manufactures even if a kit is not for you its keeping people interested in the kit car market!
many thanks DNA

DNA, I really don't mind you advertising your product, as long as it's kit car related and adds value I'm fine with it.....in moderation, stick to 1 forum thread rather than 3, it starts to look spammy when you post the same message all over the forum.

Having said all that, I'm sure there's lots you can add to the forum and there will be lots of people genuinly interested in your product and the way it is constructed so please don't feel you have to stop posting because it may be advertsing your product at the same time. If it is adding value and interesting then go for it.

Cheers, John

I'd like to see that substantiated somehow.

I think it's the repetition of models in the kitcar industry over the last 20 years that has killed it...

Whether that is ANOTHER seven replica...

ANOTHER Cobra replica

or ANOTHER MR2 based Ferrari replica......

What the industry needs is ORIGINAL design.

Rebody your old MR2s with something fresh.....

Go on, don't be scared.

Maybe there should be more kits inspired by the Ferrari design ethos, but not an exact replica, but I understand the thinking behind the replica, and don't mind seeing them on the road. I like the concept and if it works for the industry, why not.

This industry needs new blood and ideas, and rebodies is a great and simple way to get into new niches, that the kitcar industry has difficulty in tapping in.

I think a few more original designs based on the Mr2 will be coming out in 2007...., in my opinion, it's a great platform to rebody !.

Maybe someone is interested in a new design....??!!..

DNA - It's not my call to what is posted on the site, that honour is John's.

You missed my point about your web address.

Personally, I think it is a nice looking car. Your points about the size etc are good, as the real Ferrari people used to always slate the 355 reps for being too small. However if I were building a Ferrari rep, I'd want it to go like a Ferrari.

It is always interesting for manufacturers to get involved with the site. I look forward to more posts.

somedays i go whole weeks without speaking a word. and my brain keeps getting confused between german and english words, my english sentences verbs at the end have.

So ist das Leben.

Hiya DNA,

Nice conversion of a MR2 I like it but then I like the 360 Jus luv it when they slow down on the Motorways to photograph my Beetle conversion.

What vojx is on about?? Is: -
The thread is about "Lots looking" (But no one's posting)

Seems you fixed the prob. somewhat

Think about it Lots of guys have got their cars out on the road (mine 13 yrs) Many others have got 5/10grand+ builds on the go What should we do with them?? Knock em out on ebay for peanuts, buy a MR2 and give you lots o' money?

After all. It will only be an MR2 no matter how much blood, sweat, tears and money we pile into it. As the 355 reps found out. The officiandos don't want to know coz it aint Ferrari and put it in the kit car category and they are so good they must be fake
Silk purse and Sows ear applies.

A post in "general chatter" or "show us your cars" re: DNA would have been suffice but the replies generated have livened up the threads as you blanketed the forum

vojx = Wise old Owl. Me? Just old Git
