Default Christmas day hoon

The weather in Dorset and Wiltshire was lovely today, and with the low traffic volume it would have been rude not to go out and enjoy the car.

I racked up about 100 miles around lunchtime - anyone else been out similarly enjoying their car?

Would have loved to go out in mine. I keep promising a winter drive. But this and last winter, car has been off the road.

Keep getting this feeling the car don't like winter! And looks forward to a rebuild of some sort.

I have the DIY ECU now. So if you fancy another winter drive, your more than welcome!

Merry Christmas to everybody.

Yes I went out for a blast today after Dave Bence kindly finished off my new engine installation. The alternator belt screamed in protest at being reused so its off to the shops tomorrow to buy a new one.

The new engine is so much better than the old one and I look forward to giving it a good thrashing on track once bedded in.
