Appears to be a McSorley 4-4-2 chassis from plans that Jim McSorley has posted on locostusa.net. (4-4-2 is, in inches, longer, wider, taller).

One would have to modify the Champion panels, not too difficult.

Default McSorley 442

How would you identify the chassis as Mcsorley - I though it looked the same as a champion only bigger. What would you look out for?

Additional chassis tubes. Send me an e-mail and I'll attach the plans. Jim did a finite analysis and added, eliminated and otherwise improved the "book" chassis.

Default McSorley

Thanks, I have seen the drawings but looking at the pictures was not able to tell. Is there any obvious differences? Also IS the Mcsorley based on the Champion not the Gibbs chassis?

Thanks

Jim based it on the Champion "book" frame. Yes, was difficult to see in the post. The front triangulation of tubes was a hint. It may not be a McSorley,
but a homespun similar design.
