Default How's the build going?

Is everyone as slow at building as I am?

I seem to be spending as much time down the breakers and sourcing parts as I do building.

As I want to keep the hydraulic clutch I am possibly going to need a smaller heater box as the pedal fouls the exit holes for the pipes. Ah well 'it happens!

BTW welcome dylanp and tony-g, please post, just so we know you're alive . . . . .

Default Alive but embarrased how little I've done!

Since I picked up the car only managed to find time for one day's work where I fitted the steering rack, steering collumn and the radiator...

Made a little start on the heater so hopefully that's the next item to tick off when I next work on the car...

Very excited though... With the sun coming out more and more I just feel like taking a month off work to finish the car and enjoy driving it! I wish

How's everyone else progressing?

Default Build, what build?

Here we are one month (and a bit) after collection of the kit.

Not much has happened, we have a rack in place and thats almost it.

The strip of the donor has been taking most of our time, at last the engine came out last evening.

Rear hubs have proved an expensive problem, but someone is supposed to have pressed them in and dropping them round tonight.

I suppose I am generally following the build cd, but I am drawn off on tangents.

Riv nut Haven is my garage name, we bought an extra 300 just to be sure we had enough.

It sure is a funny thing that tightening four bolts take on new perspectives and can take up to an hour each.

Looking at the thing as a whole I suppose we are still on target for completion, but not within budget, hell whats a budget anyway.

Regards to all
