Default Kart seats?

I am strugling to find a seat to fit my Melos, all i hav eis 42cm max width for a seat, best i can find is 43 but no room for the sliders to work, so i have been looking at Kart seats, are the legal on roads ?

Have you seen the seats in an early landrover !! if they are legal I'm guessing almost anything is. I don't think the seat itself is important, it must however be secured properly and be relatively rigid, other than that the world is your oyster.

Neve seen them mate, i guess there as bad as or the same as kart seats.

well at long last i can get some, mite pop down to demon tweeks and get a pair, not bad at around £45 each, get slightly bigger ones and then fit a bit of padding aswell if it gets uncomfy.

i was going to make my own with the foam in a bag way, to much hassle.
