£450 is a lot of cash but at least the re-inspection fee is not as much as has been bandied around.
Still most people will probably be paying the £450 + £90 re-inspection fee, so £540 all together. Thats a big chunk of change.
It wouldn't be so bad if they did all the paperwork for you at the time of passing, ie no DVLA to deal with...
"Your car has passed sir, here is your registration plates, tax disc and all your documents. We've been in touch with your insurance company and they now have a record of your vehicles number plate, you won't need an MOT for 3 years, have a nice drive home"
