Well, 90k is the auction estimate anyways.....
And it's a full fat 325hp Z3M underneath

Hope he has a high reserve.
Barons have a trick of suggesting a low reserve to get a lot of interest. If it doesn't reach reserve they have the right to have a "bidder" after the auction ends up to 30 days after the auction has ended. The "bidder" obviously only bids the reserve price.
Tried it on with me a couple of years back, fortunately at the time on the website it said 7 days not 30 so I was able to refuse as they contacted me 10 days after the auction. There paperwork they emailed me said 30 days in the small print.
Does look very nice, will be interesting to see how high the bids go.

Does look very nice in black, suits it better imo than the previous red and light blue examples. £90k though is barmy, probably a bit of marketing gumph so it gets talked about on social media and forums ........... oh

Needs French yellow headlamps and spotlights to resemble that one that was found in a barn a few years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I think the DNA 250 is a great bodykit conversion, probably one of the best out there at the moment but £90k it aint. For that money I would want a proper engineered chassis and hand formed ally bodywork and for it to be an accurate dimensional replica and with an engine that stacks up to the original. Plus it just can't have plastic chrome bumpers at that money.
Maybe I'm a cheap skate but I would say the same about the Automirage 250, lovely as it is, for £120k it has to have an ally body and be more dimensionally accurate. I can sort of appreciate the craftsmanship and effort in creating a metal body and hence the value in £££ terms. I don't see it in the same way with GRP bodies. I appreciate the effort in initially creating the mould and both DNA and Automirage have created great quality GRP bodies but once done, bodies can then just be knocked out until the mould can take no more. No added value in my mind compared to a Cobra replica for instance.
Are we going through a crazy period because of the general hype of classic car prices? I wish them luck and hope they prove me wrong as there is always a buyer out there somewhere with the readies who will fall in love with it.

If you look at the picture you will see that it doesn't have quarter lights, I would love to see some more detailed pictures of it.

That really changes the screen shape as well ....I doubt if we will see any build up pictures of the little touches that are making the DNA stand out ...if you had the formula to create a sales price way above the norm . for a similar car , you wouldn't be sharing it either !!
I take my hat off to DNA , they know how to play the game ..kits discontinued , bespoke builds only ..... they dangled the carrot and then whipped it away as soon as people started trying to nibble it ...If I could afford to do it , I'd only do builds and limited sales of kits as well ......

Everything about the DNA stands out, they are superbly finished, got to help drag the resale value of other well built cars up.
I don't think DNA intended to stop selling kits, I thing the response and high resale values took them by surprise. Hope they can carry on, they deserve great success with such a great product.

Kit availability
I think I was was one of the first to ask the forum about availability of a 250 California under their thread "Ferris Buellers" day off. Just as am ready to purchase a kit, I have read on this thread that it is no longer available! Can anyone confirm and update me on this?

No kits, only turn key cars. Brian had so many orders he had to decide kits or full cars. As everyone needs to make a living he chose turn key cars and who can blame him.
Hopefully when the rush has died down kits may become available again, there must be a limit on people with extra deep pockets!
I would expect the delivery date to be quite a way in the future to due to demand.
You can of course order a 250SWBc from Tribute.

If you really are ready to purchase then you should be speaking to Brian direct at DNA 0121 326 8800 to see what current position is and what he can do. No one here can really speak on his behalf
