Can't say I like it simply because of the horrible rear profile due to the engine.
I really like the shape and size of the DNA Speedster. Original is so small it looks like a toy car.

They used a fixed head lol! The fact its removable is bonus.
Toy? Did you see how much they had to add the width?!
The pics on DNA website are renderings - let's see what it looks in real life against something to show scale....

Starke just unveiled their Speedster Revolution. Another Boxter based 356 Speedster.

The only problem (for me) is that they are ready built, takes them way out of my price range and most of my enjoyment would be building it.
I would be great to see Tribute make Speedster kit based on a Boxter. I don't think it would take any sales away from DNA, it could even bring DNA more sales from buyers who would like a Tribute Speedster but don't have the time or the skill set to make one. Look how well DNA did with the 2fifty and Tribute with the 250swb, similar cars but due to the price difference totally different markets. I was getting very close to selling my soul so I could buy a DNA 2 fifty but they then went fully built only, I can understand why but it took it so far out of my price range that it just wasn't worth thinking about.

Yes DNA have gone very quiet on the Mediterranean Donkey front , lots of speculation flying around but nothing confirmed ...I'm not about to add any hearsay I've picked up to the discussion as I wouldn't want to get it wrong ...
It looks like they are concentrating on the established German sector for a bit ...
ON A SIDE NOTE , I was reading about Modena Classics a few days back , they built the cars for the Ferris Beuller film ...3 in total , I believe ... They were served with a cease and desist notice just after the film was released ...
I think if you are going to f*ck with anybody ...taking the pi$$ out of rich , influential Italians , may not be the best move ....

Purely speculation on my part. But it is worth noting that even the DNA "USA" website is no longer around and I cant seem to find a trace of their facebook page anymore. Instead they have been replaced with a website that you can rent the 250 and 430 for weddings and such.

I think you can see it because its in your computer memory ...I can see it too but I was told earlier it had been taken down ...
I , as a trader , would love to hear from someone who knows whats happening ...but I am guessing that won't happen ... if its as I suspect it might be ..the old badge misuse game ...Company near me nearly 30 years ago had a destruction notice issued for doing that ..the original 250 GTO / 240Z kits ...
I would like to think that my decisions to emulate not replicate will keep me out of the current goings on ...in a selfish way !!

I think the clue is that some people are effectively representing their cars as the real marque. Egg making copies of landmark cars.
The moon fruit sit comes up on Google. I am using a new phone for the first time today, so no Web history.

Hopefully, it is just the websites being upgraded. The moonfruit site is now working.
Very nice Kobra in baby blue with a white stripe, really suits it with the wires and whitewalls. 250 style grill looks good too, not to in your face.

What's the moonfruit thing about ??
I checked the site and its all good for me.
I don't think the build agent would have issues with F*****. Surely it will be the kit supplier that holds the moulds who would be the target ?

I think Moonfruit is the website hoster , bit like GoDaddy or similar businesses who put websites together using templates and stuff .
If the issue is the badges , then that will be down to whoever fits them ...I know that Tribute are very clear that they don't and haven't badged anything up ...When a car leaves them , then they are not able to control what happens afterwards .....
The websites up , so everything's fine , in theory ...I am sure I would have heard something if different ......
DNA definitely have had a run in ...sounds like anyone selling their stuff has been approached too .....but who knows ..time will tell , I guess ...
