Default kit car insurance

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best Kit car insurers?

Hi,

I went with A Plan for mine. I have insured a straight Z3 with them and they knew what a kit was so I can change the insurance once the modifications are finished.

I think the year was £250 limited to 3000 miles. I was happy with that considering my 6 points

Dave

I went with 'A' Plan too. I paid just under £100 per year for my Spyder (2 litre straight six) and as Dave P says, they actually understand the kit/special owner's needs.

What's that about points influencing the price though? Is it some sort of discount scheme? Am I missing out by not having any? Why haven't I got any points?

I've just reinsured with Flux as they came out cheaper than Aplan.
£189 for 3K miles, value £25k but not an agreed value, they want another £65 to do an agreed value so I have been printing the prices of Tributes that appear on eBay.

LOL. If you're that bothered you can borrow mine ?

That said I'm down to three again very soon.
