Thumbs down Renault 30 gearbox - speedometer cable

I am building a kit with a Renault 30 power unit mounted behind the driver. For this, I need a long, very not-standard speedometer cable - 3m long . Has anyone encountered and solved such a problem ?
The speedometer I have is an SW 0-180 MPH unit with an adapter marked 7/88 1/1LH and what appears to be a 3/4 inch (or19mm) 26tpi thread
The gearbox is a standard 5 speed Renault unit
