Default Rear disc brakes Ital - Dolomite Sprint

I am currently looking at doing a rear disc conversion on an Ital back axle (on the car) or a Dolomite Sprint axle (needs converting etc)

Has anyone here done this to an Ital?

Any suggestions please......

James Whiting used to do this conversion for live axle Caterhams, might be worth giving him a call.

Thanks for that, but when I spoke to James Whiting they were no longer supplying the kit as there was no demand.

I had a Marina and Sprint axle in my garage and with a bit of work I have fitted an MGF rear caliper and disc to both. The MGF uses the same wheel pcd so all I needed to do was fabricate a caliper bracket and sort out the hydraulics and handbrake.

I have only driven the Sprint modification and I am pleased with the final result.

Incidentally my Marina based Marlin also has larger front vented discs fitted, these came from a pretty common Renault setup.
