Default How many MX250's have been finished?

Seen a few in progress builds here, along with photoshops all over the net but how many are finished? Lets see some pics if anyone can post them....

Finished??? Why on earth would you want to finish it? Then you would have to start another one, or, heaven forbid, actually use it!

Its not the destination.....its the journey

Totally agree - I "finished" my Marlin 5exi in Sept 2006....and I still have a list of jobs to do on it . Building is as much fun as driving.

...Nick - must say that I'm really enjoying your build thread - checking progress everday and enjoying watching it evolve - some real quality work going on that I would love to see. I'm not usually into body conversions but the MX250 is sweet - and your take on it is spot on. Do you think you will be taking it to Stoneleigh "finished" next year???

Thanks Rich! Just trying to prise myself of the sofa now to do an hour, as '57 channels and nothing on......'
As to Stoneleigh....., never say never!
I plan to get it driving in primer as soon as, the spray it in the spring when it warms up a bit. I dont have an oven, plus if there is any settling to do it wont spoil the topcoat.

Heres Billies finished one. He had loads of pics but his Photobucket account has stopped.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISA...m=130764267935

Saw this one at Carfest North this year - it was in the auction. I must say that from a distance it looked great; but IMHO didn't stand up to close scrutiny.
Quality of finish is all in the preparation - no substitute for time and hard work. Looks like you have got this covered though

Hi Sybez

The MX250 kit is relatively new to the scene, with the 1st kit (Billy's) leaving our workshop in June this year, so finished (painted) examples are a little thin on the ground at present.

We are having our convertible demo car painted over the next 2 weeks, so pictures of that one soon.

I am hopeful for a good turn out at next years kit car shows, with people beavering away in their garages over the winter
