Hi I am getting down to building mine after a year or so lay off and now am at that point when I need to decide what to do about the dash. What have people done, does it look good, is it hardwaring etc and are there any pictures posted

Hi Mate,

Welcome to one of the many problems for us builders.

I went through a number of phases, leather (nice), Flock (nice) CarbonFibre (very nice).

Even up to the day I put the screen in I was undecided, so we spayed it matt black and that seemed fine, but now perhaps I should have been more adventurous.

Best thing is I can whip the dash out without too much trouble and change it, but believe it or not there is a certain simplicity and no one has said it looks rough.

So in answer to your question if you go to the Marlin site you can see what they have done and find links to other builders who have done their bit.

It is a kit and you do what you like, for example you would not recognise my car at the moment as I am playing with a paint job.

Eventually I will come down to colours I really like.

Enjoy the build

Regards Trev
