Default Cat for Rover 218

Does anyone have a cat laying in their garage from a Rover 218/216? Mine is now very rattly after a trip across the grass in a spin at the end of last year. I hasten to add that I was not driving at the time.

A universal sports cat might liberate some power?

John

I am after a Cat to drop in for MOT time as I already have a Marlin made additional silencer box in place of the Cat.

I do not now need a replacement cat. The rattle which we thought was from the exhaust cat is actually the bottom engine mount bracket coming away from the chassis rail.

This is the same engine mount that needed rewelding in Spa it's just that it has now gone in a different place. So it's off to TD to get it rewelded hopefully I can get this done by Saturday so that I can still take the car to Stoneleigh on Sunday.

See you there.

Car all fixed, collected this afternoon, come and say Hi if you are at Stoneleigh tomorrow I will be on the Bristol Kit Car Club stand.

I will then be with Marlin at Castle Combe for the racing on Monday. What a tough weekend I am going to have!!
