Default Exhaust fitted

Tail end of last year I got my exhaust fitted.

The guys at Haywood and Scott did a lovely job - really pleased (yes take a screen shot - I said I'm please lol!) with result and it sounds lovely.

Only one drawback - fuel consumption has hit an all time low constantly cruising round at mid revs upwards!

This was the look I was going after:

I think they look much neater sitting just under the bumper. I'm not keen when they stick out too far, looks as it you can't operate a tape measure!

You've got the look you were after. They do look great. And, a happy Smash is good news.

Not as loud as you'd think actually - sound incredible from 3krpm upward tho.

I'll find out what they sound like from behind when the car is sold after it warms up a bit...

Smash - Your exhausts are another nice touch on a car that already a lot of great features.

Enjoy, Paul.

Jeff - if only I could afford an Auto Mirage! One day maybe. I still have an Esprit shaped itch to scratch and they haven't quite gone totally stupid money wise. Also fancy a Tuscan. Who knows - there's a lot going on here....

Paul - perhaps a little enjoyment then up for sale Easter time

Scott,

I have a friend who has an Esprit, very low mileage was bought at an executors sale.

I do know he wants to sell it, I can find out a bit more about it for you if interested ?

Sounds interesting! Will be a way off yet.

Besides I took the car to local meet Sunday - had a good chat with the new owner of Andys grey Koupe who's a really nice guy and knows his SWBs. Between him and his son they have quite a collection of kits!
