Default Sad news.....

I think Steve Hole's obituary says it better than I can......

... but, I for one, thoroughly enjoyed building and driving my Sportster.

Thank you Mark and may you rest in peace.

I only ever met Mark in the flesh once, having dealt with Terry almost exclusively... But he seemed a nice enough chap when I did talk to him. Others say he was abrupt, but I never found that when I spoke to him on the phone.

It's a damn shame he's gone.

RIP.

Very sad news indeed. Just had an email from Terry (as I'm sure most of you also had) telling of Mark's passing. Also a plan for an even at Marlin in the summer (dates tbc), which will support the charity linked with Mark's condition. A good show of Sportsters would be a fitting tribute to the man behind the design. I will hopefully be able to attend once the date is known, and hope to see some other owners there too.

Condolences to Terry, and the rest of Mark's family.

Rob
