Haha, fair enough.
You can keep up to 10 grand change, and top up £5 grand, so the question becomes, which single car would you buy between £30 and £45 grand. New, second hand, kit, or custom built for you.

Well, with the pound sinking against the Euro (because of the Brexit) 40.000 Pounds = 47.000 Euros.
For that money (or a little less) you can get a nice used Audi R8 in Germany.

A 5 or 6 years ago you could get a ferrari 360 or a lambo gallardo and have change with that money. Have you seen the prices of them now? I dont understand how they can go up that much in value!
A friend or mine bought a ferrai 360 modena for £30k 7 years ago. Infact you could buy a ferrai 456 for about £25k! At that time there was any amounts for sale at that price.
Cam anyone explain the price increase?

In anser to the question posted, would have to be te best ferrari i could find for the money!

A work colleague bought a 308 GT4 about 10 years ago. It was all up and running with an mot. He paid £7500 for it. He didn't have the foresight to keep it very long and he sold it on less than a year later.

If I had £40 I would build a 275 replica when they become available and have the best part of £30k to spend on another future project. My problem has always been that I have to sell one car to fund the next. I wish I had been able to hang onto so many cars I've had in the past!

I've always wanted one of these, might stretch the £40k budget though.

All day long!!! One of my favourite French cars ever- especially in that blue and all stickered up. Usually a few at Retromobile and enough spares to build one.

I've just seen a model of a cabrio version- never seen a full sized one though.
