Default Has anybody thought about......Seats?

I liked the Marlin 'cut out' seats, but the originals were a little tight on my sylph like body.

So I have ordered the wider versions. Thing is they seem to be taking ages and as my build is now getting very close I am keen to put them in.

Can I ask other builders how they are approaching the subject.

Regards

Trev

Default

My ans: Cheaply.

I bought a pair of Mambo (MWS own make) at Donnington last year for £120. They do not have any cut outs, but if I find I need these when the car is built, I have a mate who can modify them.

I'll try & post a pic sometime.

I would have loved to buy a set of Marlin's carbon seats, but can't stretch the budget at the mo.

Default seats

Well after a lot of deliberation I decided to order the seats form Marlin although expensive, I couldn't find the same spec seats any cheaper. I ordered mine early December and am still waiting, they were going to be covered before Christmas but the sooner they're ready the sooner I'll have to pay for them.
I've had a bit of a break from the build anyway but when the seats arrive it might encourage a bit of action.
Best wishes Brian.
