Good luck, hope you enjoy sanding and filling - try to find a week off work to break the back of it.

I've gone for the hard top but depends where you live and what your using it for. Weekends or special occasions with the Mrs on a sunny day. I'd like to take mine to Monte Carlo and back. Eventually:-)

Hello, thanks for your welcomes, eventually I will be building a hard top version, and my inspiration for building one is until I started working for myself again ,I used to have a hobby restoring classic cars , the last one being a 74 mercedes 450sl. Now when I do get spare time im kicking around twiddeling my thumbs, so I thought kit car! and when I started looking around they were all lotus 7 copys or a mr2 based f430,s ,then I came across the mx250 (ad on ebay) which is different and although a kit not as difficult I would imagine as something with a space frame. Also being based on a brilliant little sports car as the mx5 (after all if it wasn't for the mx5 we wouldn,t have the porsch boxer)

Hi Harvey

Thanks for joining in . You have made a good start by buying the Eunos rather than a UK MX5, it should be rust free, fingers crossed.

I hear what you are saying about being self employeed, great boss, bad pay!
