Been too cold to work in my garage these last few days and we're now 6" deep in snow.

Will be cracking on with the next stage soon. Once my tonneau arrives...

Gary. Hello? Are you there?

NOT THAT QUIET THEN !

We have avoided the snow so far , we seem to get away with it more than some of you guys ...not sure why but literally a few miles either side of Poole / bournemouth it can be snowed in and we aren't ! might be a purbeck hills or Harbour thing , dunno....

TOWED....Iwill chase him tomorrow , sorry about the delay.

BAZ.....New info on both cars coming soon....we have progressed on both in the last week or so , but kit production has slowed us a little....might be getting some extra help next week to move the G46 on a bit as it needs a push....

Default Progress

I'll go along with others, I might have a brand new garage, but still bloody freezing in there. At least it's out of the wind and snow. My Son's gone back to work abroad for the next few months so I have lost 50% of the work force.

Progress slowed a little after Christmas, work commitments for us self employed guys, got take it whilst it's there and that includes weekends,at the drawing board all this weekend.

Good to hear some more development work has happened on the G46, whilst we are currently concentrating on the mechanical side of things one area we going to need to resolve soon is the door hinging, however I think it's very important to get the next jobs fully resolved in your head before tackling them.

So maybe others are going through intense thinking periods until the snow clears!

Christmas brought my build. To a standstill, then I am away for the month so nothing to report. Hopefully some progress next time around....

Managed a couple of evenings in the garage this week but been waiting for my new MIG to arrive and parts to return from powder coating.

But been out there all weekend teaching myself to weld - certainly warms-up the garage.

My body is in port waiting for customs to release it. It arrived on Friday. I received notification that if the container that the body is in is chosen for inspection that it could take up to 7 weeks for final delivery and could cost ME from $600 to $2200!
I am praying that it clears with out inspection!

My final box of brake bits turned up on friday, but its been just too cold to do much this last week, until today. I should get things re assembled tonight as long as there are no other "surprises" and then if all goes well i'll book a re test in the week and if its dry next weekend then I,ll take her to the autojumble at the bath & west show ground :-)

Im still worrying about syncro on my gearbox though!

Away mountain biking this weekend but just got the chassis rolled into the garage and on the ramps ready to POR15 the chassis.

Did you get my email about what state you want the chassis in when I bring it down?

I sent it to the info@ smmio address.
