A set of adaptors for MGB 14" or TR6 15" (and similar wheels) are readily available. An example here -

Other specialists can also provide - MWS is probably the best known -

Good luck!

The Spitfire hubs for 13" wires have shorter splines than the MGA/MGB/MGC type, so larger wheels won't fit them. When a bigger wheel is pushed fully onto the hub the thread for the spinner is still inside the wheel giving you nothing to screw the spinner on to.

The MWS adaptors are excellent quality and will take any of the MG A/B/C wires giving you a choice from 4"x14" 48 spoke, through 4.5"x14" 60 spoke (MGB and cheap as chips on ebay) to 5.5x15 72 spoke (typically £200 each new).

Just bear in mind that the TR4/5/6, Jaguar and Aston Martin all used different splines so won't fit the MG adaptors.

TR6 72 spoke 15" are the same fit as MGB. It's not an uncommon upgrade amongst the B fraternity.

Chic Doig's eBay ad says that they are good for TR6. I may be missing something; it wouldn't be the first time.

As T says, Jag and Aston are definitely out of the equation.........unless you get some adaptors made.................

Oops, I stand corrected. I was led to believe that the big TR's had a different spline setup a while back but never really checked up as I was happy with the cheap MGB wires.
