Hi all what's the easiest way to tell if my rear diff on my kit car is a LSD

Get one wheel on the road one on grass give it some and drop the clutch both should spin

I'm sure there's a proper way though

If your auto is not driveable, like my fleet. :-)
Lift both rear wheels. Turn one wheel forward by hand. If the other turns backwards - it's an open differential. If the other wheel turns forward - it's an LSD.
