I suspect that in ladyspeak, Ivory is for clothes, Buttermilk is for things?

Having been looking at wall paint colours yesterday and trying to fathom the difference between Blown Glass and Sea Mist, I know I am not the subject matter expert.

Nor me I'll make my mind up eventually? In the mean time I've found another job to put on the to do list the door side screen lip's lean in too far It won't look too good with a screen growing out of my neck and would be very detrimental to my health.
It looks as if I'll have to cut them off from about half way and re build them in a more upright position has anyone else had this problem? how did you sort it out?

I've also started to make a tunnel box cum cup holder cum arm rest, the arm rest bit will be upholstered in green to match the seats it will be bolt on so if I don't like it I can chuck it!

My screen ridge tips in a bit too ...I think its a left over from the wider D type origins ...there was a couple of inches more room either side..

I am using these on the one I'm doing ... rubber fixing with a nut inside and a 4mm pan head bolt ...the rubber sleeve pulls tight in the hole as you do up the bolt and the rubber head acts as a nice rubber pad for the screen to sit against

The fitting should work a treat. They are used to hold motorcycle screens in.

They're called 'well nuts' and are commonly used to hold toilet seats onto the pan.

I used them to fit my flyscreen:

Well nut (M10 I think) -

Suitable hole drilled into the body -

And you can fit your screen into blind panels without needing access to the other side -

As useful as the well nuts are I don't think they will work for me yet if you look at the photo you will see where the lip is and where I need it to be.

\the strip of alloy is where I need the lip too be, So two options I think
1 cut off the lip and build a new one
2 build up the current lip with glass fibre past then cut it down to the required profile hopefully retaining the strength of the original lip? anyone got any better ideas?

Cut off the original, pack out the new strip for the depth required for glass/perspex and then cover that with parcel tape and fibreglass around that to build your new lip.

Hope that makes sense.
