Default Sabre on ebay

Looks like a good buy.........

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...tchlink:top:en

DVLA have it listed as a Royale Sabre so no issues with IVA etc......

Wow - that's a lot of car for the money.

I was speaking to a Sabre owner not so long ago and he spent £30k building his - although I suspect that was a bit of an exception.

I would be tempted to ditch the engine though.....

It surely is for a fully registered road going car. I was sorely tempted to buy another one but my sensible side got the better of me

Peter

Can you please tell me where to find my sensible side - I have been looking for years but still have no idea where it is!!!

However, although this looks good and I like the Sabre, I still have a Sportster to complete.

Default Unfinished Royale Sabre

There is an unfinished Royale Sabre now on ebay.........

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/royal-sabr...p2056016.l4276

These only come up for sale about once in a blue moon, so anyone thinking of building one of the best kitcars around, then here is your chance.

(The advert does say that some parts are missing so buyer beware!)

It went for £1550 so quite a bargain considering a new chassis and body kit currently costs about £8k inc VAT.

A nice challenging project for somebody!

Here is another unfinished Sabre for sale...(or possibly the same one?)

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1823889641...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

From the pictures it looks a bit messed up and a poor quality build so I think the price is a 'bit strong'.
An incomplete kit like this with dwindling manufacturers support could be an expensive challenge for somebody. It's been for sale for a while on the owners club site at £3000 with no sale.

edit, looking at the pictures again, I think it might be the same kit that was sold on ebay back in March??
