Are you going to keep Z3gato as the model name?
I think Chris is calling it the Tribute Z3GT

I wonder what it would look like with a vw beetle 1303s windscreen as a rear screen

The problem is getting the right curve radius top to bottom and side to side, as well as width and depth. It has to be long, as given the rake of the back, you can end up with a narrow slit for rear vision.

Generally, yes, but without offering it up to the body/roof, you cannot tell. The car is wider than the 250swb which took either an mgb or replica of original.

There is a chap who lives near me with a very similar car. He had it built at a cost of around £500k. He also owns a Proteus C Type so he understands the top end replica market. I'm not sure if he was impressed or not when I told him about the Z3 based cars, he was a bit snooty about the concept !!

This is a fabulous result - and sorely tempting! Can we see a few photos of the bonnet tilt/hinge mechanism?

Send Chris an email, I don't have any pics, I have been mainly concerned about how he gets the outside to work.

Found this neat little Zagato Barchetta whilst Googling. Created as a one off of what might have been if Zagato had gone with a roofless version !

Boy racer drives a DB4 Zagatto and nearly trashes it !!

The light blue paint finish looked good too !

The Barchetta looks good. I saw That somewhere, not the images you have, it looked a little darker. Chris should do well with his version.

When I was scrolling through Google images I didn't realise it was a screen shot from a game ! Just liked the look of the light blue colour which is why I clicked on it only to find the youtube footage.
Oh well, a 10 minute, slightly silly video ! I like the bit at the end where he goes through the gate, brought back a few memories, unfortunately !!
