Wheels
Gents Ive read a few threads regarding wheels sizes but is there a definitive offset size that means no spacers required on the rear? If not what ET's can you go for on the rear??
PS got a quote from image wheels £1705!!!!!!!!!!! no tyres. Ebay I go I think!

I have a cross section drawing of the rear of the MX5 with the MX250 kit fitted, just need to tidy it up before I post it. You really need 10" rims with the correct offset (low et) to forgo the spacers, but will confirm.
Have you seen these on ebay? I'm sure you have:

Wheel sizes on our Convertible demo car are as follows:
Make: Borbet A
Front 16 x 7.5" with et (offset) 20mm (no spacers)
Rear 16 x 9" with et (offset) 15mm (+25mm spacers)
Running 215/40/16 tyres all round at present, but will be fitting:
205/55/16 Front
225/50/16 Back
Red demo car (gold wheels):
Make: Compomotive RF
Front 15 x 7" with et (offset) 20mm
Rear 15 x 7" with et (offset) 10mm (+50mm spacers)
205/50/15 tyres all round
On the Mk2 demo car we have used:
215/40/17 all round on 8x 17 Image split Rims with 0 offset.
PCD 4 x 100 fitment with 25mm spacers on rear only.
This did require the front arches to be flared, due to the 0zero offset and 8" width.
You will be fine with 8" fronts if the offset is 25mm.

My tire dealer has ordered the Lenso in 7 + 8 x 15 for me
in 2-3 weeks, I can tell whether the fit. I ordered the wheels with 25mm offset. I think it will fit in the front
rear I need 25mm spacers.

My rears are 15" rims, with 225/55 tyres, giving a total diameter of 24 1/4", 2" more than the standard MX.
Lowered 40mm on £500 worth of KYB shocks, adjustable.
The fronts are 185/70s I think.
The original 250GTO ran 15" 185/80 all round. 26" diameter.

I do have a pair of 15" five spoke Revolutions for sale, 11"J, drilled for ford or Jap, ie 4x108 or 4x100.
They are new, never fitted. You would just need two fronts which are available again.
