Are the grill slats an exact fit to the opening as is, because I'd like to open out the bottom corners to make it less smiley, like many of the production cars.
Cheers,Steve
Yes the whole front end will lift up on the z3 hinges on the production kits as the prototype does.

Yes the side windows/frames will be complete with track, glass and latches (landrover).

Yes the grill slates will be an exact fit to the opening, but happy to get some extra centre slats cut for you to assemble your squarer version.

There are various options on location of filler caps. Geoffs car will be getting a modified z3 flap to cover the existing stock filler cap. Bob (hurnleft) is going another route. It all makes for an individual, personalised car.

Hi Rob.

We need to discuss the fuel cap location for your SWB kits. I will email you later today with links to supplier of MGB rear window glass, seals and trims.

Your Kobra kit will be made next week.

I hope you are bringing a BIG van!

Rob (mobilerobbie) will be representing our Z3 kits in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. He purchased one of our unfinished Kobra's, which is now finished, and will be collecting another set of Kobra panels and 2 SWB kits in February.

More details to follow.

Chris
I note in the picture of the currently red car you have a different tire / wheel combination showing on the front left. Does it clear the body work at full lock?
What size tire / wheel / offset are they?

Wow! Stunning car and definitely a finished look to aspire to -

I notice it has the 'smiley' grille too. Anyone know it the grille shape is down to production year? This one's a '62 -

I always use Fantasy Junction when I'm looking for close up details, here's a silver 62 SWB chassis number 3113 (they've even got a picture of the tool kit!) http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/...%2012-Cylinder

So that's also a '62 but has the flat bottomed grille. I guess it just depended which panel maker picked up the hide faced hammers on the day the front valance was formed.

Even the tool roll is gorgeous.

"I do not have a final price yet for all the components as a conplete kit, but to start with your client can buy the SWB body & fresh V12 engine at: £120,500...."
.. for a box full of bits from different cars and a v5 from one of them?

Thanks Nick, probably not up to your fairing standards. Who is this Gym you speak of?
