I knew it would happen.

All these new Z3 based body conversions will make the soon to be classic sports cars rarer.

So as luck would have it I found this curious auction on ebay.
A Z3 body conversion for a MR2.
I know im tired but I don't get it

The wacky baccy side of the business obviously took over on that one...

Hopefully the new owners have "weeded" out the remnants.

I think price might be right maybe this is for MX5 but even so the price of the genuine car means its a pointless replica

I suppose Z3s were more expensive then so someone may have thought it was worth replicating.

Personally I cant see the point in using an MR2 donor for a Z3 replica, maybe the seller doesn't really know what donor it's for!

I notice the seller is Pilgrim Motorsports.

Is this the new name for the old Pilgrim Sumo manufacturer?

The ebay account name is BrightonClassics. Brighton is only just down the road from the old Pilgrim factory. Not sure if Pilgrim still exist , I stopped buying the kit car mags when the Pilgrim owner of one mag was slagging off the Which Kit Peter Filby etc etc . It put me off kit cars for years , so futile !!
