Default Turbo drive shafts

Hi all
Can you help? After catching up on all the info I missed out on and Trevs good advice and research. I trotted down to my local supplier for a replacement drive shaft for my turbo 5EXI. Yes they could match up the No. RO595 Great just about to pay my money when he announced it was a left hand drive shaft. Am I right, that a right-hand, drivers side is the shaft required. (The long one)

Has anybody else ordered a shaft, and was it this or another number or can the shaft be to identified to a specific rover and year.

All the best
Tony-g

Default Good Spot Tony

Just a quickie to confirm it is the longer shaft you need.

Sorry I can not help with any other serial or part Numbers.

well i think I have cracked the drive shaft number problem. A local supplier managed to convert the R0595 part number. picked it up today and will fit tonight.

Just for reference it is to fit a Rover 420 td 1995 to 99 non ABS and the actual length is measured compressed and that is 960mm. I hope it is the same as yours trev.

all the best

Default Really Pleased

Hi Tony,

When you put the right shaft in, you just know it's right.

We checked our 's time and time again. The amount of movement looks and feels perfect!

So pleased you got the right one in the end.

Regards Trev
