Eg 37mm dish in front of hub or 37% hanging past hub or possibly the reverse of that for clearance of breaks. Thing is would like some overhang over the wheels at the back allowing some width but not so much it looks like a bubble shape arch.

Offset is the distance from the hub face to the centre line of the wheel. The smaller the number, the more the wheel will poke out of the arch.
Assuming the wheel width is the same, a wheel with ET10 will poke out 27mm more than one with ET37 (37-10). You can have '-' ET figures and these will poke out even more.

Here you go, this should help

Sounds good to me the arch needs a little over hang to give a nice profile looking down the side the hips have gone recently. Just waiting from Chris to see if this is possible

I think when i last saw the build the bonnet and wings were being filled and sanded its bin a while but perfection takes while:-). I'm thinking now that maybe a rod style paint finish will work with the wheels. Grey bodywork. Bonnet ,roof area black with red pin stripes. Black spot with thin red line round the outside on the door. Dish on the wheel sprayed black the lip on the outside red matching the mirrors and bonnet pinstripe.

Think. You mean the swb. The amz was being worked on around other projects. The back end has been altered and the front as well. Once the alignment is sorted in sure Chris will have pics on the way.

Tha amz has been on the back burner i think as Chris was concentrating on the swb ready for the show. I saw the swb in person today and it looks awesome the detailing round the windows and arches and wings all takes time. But he was back on the amz today. Refining the nose area and bringing the headlight area back. But to bring it back it means raising certain area's and still trying to keep the sleek profile.

Colours- quite like the fiat abarth colours. Various mixes of red and grey and blacks. Campolovo or something like that. 676. With the red mirrors. The 16's I've gone for have a lip so gives illusion of them looking like 17's. Would be nice to have that lip sprayed maroon b matching the mirrors. They look like 8 spoke superlite's. Cant wait to get tyres on them and on the build.

My wheels look alot like the concept on the first page of this thread. Rota rb's in gunmetal. 16x8. I'm looking to put 205/55/16 with a diameter of round 24.88 inches. Similar to a 2003 2 litre Hyundai coupe size tyre. My bro had one

If anyone knows of alternative 16x8combo closer to 25 inch diameter would much appreciated. Trying to get a combo that fits in the rear arch without chopping and welding being involved.

Not quite sure what you are wanting here, but if you had 15 inch wheels, 205/60/15 would give you roughly the same deal at 24.69 inches diameter

Basically i have a set of 16x8 wheels and would like to get as close to a 25 diameter tyre. A 205/55/16 tyre gives me 24.88 inches. Its as close as i need. The original had 26 diameter tyres based on a 205 tyre. The smaller diameter will allow for the shorter wheelbase. And sits 40mm shorter with the mx5's tyre combo.
