Yep that's more like it. The mini front had a more vertical angle than the swb, that's what i was looking at along with a more curvy grill. Funny how things can get lost in translation . Also with a 1275 gt clubman front it would look like an early ford mustang with a curvier behind. Not saying i want one but nice to be able to see if it works

Thing is "some say" that the best looking cars have an aggressive front end with a curvy pert rear. Bit like saying Ferrari 430 front with say the more sedate back end of the 599. But each to their own.

I think the f12 is a good example of this. Ferrari 250 gtc looks nice. V12.

How about a kit to convert a citroen DS to one of the Chaparral (?) DS convertibles?

Both Chaparral and Citroen DS are amongst my favourite cars but I've not heard of a Chaparral DS. Can you post a pic?

I built something like that once by welding two mini subframes together. It didn't have a body though.
