After putting all the rubbers back on i thought the typical jap huge numb looking rubber trim that stops rain running down the window and inside the door had to go so i have made some alloy ones. I will getsome beter pics tom once fitted but heres a few pics of the unfinished product.

The alloy trim has made the door look much thicker and has given it depth. It looks much older and original when fitted correctly. I glued a rubber strip along the bottom of the glass so when the window is up the rubber closes up tight to the alloy trim and makes a seal that is better than the original.

Like the window trims Billy, very period, just need to frame the glass and fit sliding side windows now. How's the exhaust coming along?

I am looking at making a opening quarter. Thats a job i will do when the rest is finished. The exhaust is great even if i say so myself. I designed it so that it is a replacable part. Basicly cut the rear pipe on line with the diff then fitted a 3" stubby cherry bomb then mounted the new twin pipe stainless system to that. Used smaller pipe for the end pipes to give it a tighter rasp sound. It sounds great and looks original. I will take some pics of it later.
