We will be having PU injected moulded indicator lenses. Made the same way as the 2Fifty John.

I agree with the above compliments
I think the blue makes it more of a convincing replica, sometimes the red is over used

I know the Ferris Bueller car was red, but this classic light blue colour is amazing.

I also think the switch to an "A" reg makes a big difference to how people will judge the car.
( I'd be very surprised if a member of the general public thought this was a kit car. )

Whilst the interior does looks mint, I've love to see one done using distressed leather on the seats.

A bit like Scottie22's A352/XKSS, where the cracks in the seat add to the "lived in" vintage look.

Cheers, Paul.

I do agree on the period registration plate. I went for a "B" reg, I'm of that age where I remember that they used to issue the old "A" reg for all cars that didn't have a plate or had had it transferred, now of course they issue a relevant aged plate.
Mine was only £60 + £80 transfer fee. The car doesn't have to be taxed and insured to transfer, you can also do it on line and took mine less than a week. Much simpler than it used to be.

I must say when I originally saw Scotties pink sofa he intended to use for trimming, I though "that's going to look bloody awful" How wrong I was, he did a fantastic job and has just the right patina.

If the lack of patina is an issue - you could always build one and lend it to me for a year or two... I'm sure it wouldn't be too much of a struggle to get the passenger seat patina added as well

In seriousness, if the inside has patina, then shouldn't the chrome and paint be the same? I don't know the answer, but think it's a pretty interesting question.

All of the classic kits I've had / built have probably been 'off' as I've always used new parts so the car has always looked like a new resto. (I wish ) I know others that haven't and considered making a patina 356 speedster at one point but it brings up an interesting point.

If you have new shiny paint on the outside, should the chrome and interior look used?
