Default Who reads the news section?

Hopefully we all do.

Just a thought this, but as we are all interested in Kit cars and we probably talk to at least one manufacturer every now and again, why don't we ask said manufacturer(s) to email press releases to John?

The more news and more manufacturers that contribute to the site, the more popular it should become.

You never know said manufacturers might be tempted to do as Marlin and Phantom have done and have a forum section for their builders.

Ya can't say it's not a good site.

Any thoughts / input?

Good idea btw. We do get press releases from some manufacturers but any prodding that can be done would be appreciated.

And isn't this a worrisome trait!!!!?????????????, they should thank the media for the free advertising they do get, from printed media to the internet websites. This is called exposure!!!!

This just shows, how most haven't a clue of the revolution the net is having on this industry, open forums and websites , dedicated portals are opening up the kit industry globally, but very few have changed the old ways of doing business.. .

I can't believe they are afraid in sending a press kit...!!!!!!!!!!, that is the 101(basics) of business...

New Blood, new thinking, new ways to market kits...

Absolutely....It is a bit bizarre to be honest.

Madabout alone gets over 60,000 visitors a month which is probably more eyes than all the Magazines get per month put together.....and then we still have KitcarUSA with 20,000 visitors, and waiting in the wings is another site.

(BTW I won't try and hoodwink you stating ridiculous 'hits' that other websites publish to try and make out they are more popular than they are)

Bout time the industry woke up. We don't charge manufacturers for listing, news stories etc.

John
