Default Locking Bonnet Pins

Hi, can anyone recommend locking bonnet pins?

This is the sort of thing I'm looking at, because it is fairly discreet.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bonnet-Bo...53.m1438.l2649

I want to make sure they don't rust easily and given that using one at each corner is sufficient to secure the bonnet rather as I don't plan to use any other latches.

I'd appreciate any help / advice. Thank-you!

My experience of chrome plated products at the cheaper end is that they do rust. ACF50 will help.

Aluminium is normally better, whether lockable ones are available...

Likely to freeze in cold weather.
I fitted similar to a boot lid but replaced it with one that had a hinged cover.

I have found that the upper end of the price range is the same.

I have 2 sets of expensive "stainless steel" headlight rims that rusted in less than 12 months.
Being expensive does not necessarily mean better quality, just a greedier seller.

Fair point.

Do they need to be lockable? Access to the under bonnet area doesn't make the car more likely to stolen.
