Default Monza fuel cap

Next job is the fuel cap/pipe but got a bit of a shock on the prices.
have just ordered a cap for £131 inc delivery and import duty

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Speedway-Lar...BVvLj4&vxp=mtr

It looks the same (but may well be different) to car builder solutions 3 1/2 aston cap that they sell for £240 + delivery.

I will let you know what its like when it arrives. If it is suitable then it's quite a saving.

Cap looks good ...I have used Speedway for Hot Rod stuff in the past , never had any problems ..just beware of the import duty and handling charge you might get when it arrives if it comes through certain couriers ...Parcelforce are the worst ..

Fuel cap arrived today, £130 including shipping and import duty. very large and very nice.
It won't fit into the fuel cap told that Chris supplied. I've just cut it in half an added a 20mm strip, not perfect but it will do me. By the time the cap is fitted I think it will look fine.

Side view, this will be 5>10mm lower once it has been bonded under the shell.

The measurements of the cap are
Base plate diameter 120mm
pipe inlet diameter 51mm
cap diameter 110mm
cap measured flat to flat 165mm

Needed to do another cut at 90 degrees and let in 10mm to get the cap to sit properly.
