Default Rover part prices

Hi All,

I'm presently in the process of purchasing the various new Rover parts that are needed for my build.

I'm just wondering whether the prices I've been quoted from Partco match what you've paid, and if not, where you got your parts from.

Front caliper - £48.27 (exchange - i have front calipers)
Rear caliper - £83.29 + £35.25 surcharge (I don't have an exchange pair at the moment)
Radiator - £91.33
Front wheel bearing kit - £35.27
F disc - £30.06
R disc - £23.43
F pads - £32.86
R pads - £24.43

All pointers will be greatly received.

Cheers,
John.

They look like good prices.

The price for each caliper is a bit of a killer but still a lot cheaper than Rover.

Default rover radiators

There are several suppliers listed on e-bay a lot cheeper for brand new.
Be careful which type you order, there are a few models.
All the suppliers are very helpful and will answer any questions.
I am at rolling chassis stage with mine.
Cheers
Paul

Help!

I never thought sourcing a rad' would be such a ball ache, but Terry couldn't give me the part number, my donor 216 rad is clearly not the correct one (much narrower than that shown in the build pictures), and British Car Parts don't know which one I need, despite my best efforts to help them (pictures, 5exi mounting space...)!

If someone has the part number for the radiatior I'd be really grateful for it. The number given out above appears to be for the standard 216 which is what I already have... albeit a knackered example.

Many thanks.

Default radiator

Hi,
Have a look on e-bay, item number 4627423885.
Brand new and less than £60 delivered.
If it is not what you are looking for, drop them a note and I'm sure they will sort it.
Loads of good buys on e-bay
Regards
Paul

Default radiator

Mine was part number 731212 described as rover 218/418, was correct came with hole for fan switch, a blank was available if switch not required as some systems use engine management temp sensor on engine to switch fan on.
I paid £50+vat.
