Default Oil cooler/temp help

I'm about to fit an oil cooler ready for Mr Jackson next year and at the same time am fitting my smiths senders for oil temp/pressure.

1. I know where to fit the pressure sender....but will it matter that I will no longer have oil light on for start up??

2. There is what looks to be a blanking plug above the oil filter, can I use this for the temp sender? I presume I can but not sure what this is for?

3. I am not sure where the oil temp sensor is currently located/or if there is one, does anyone know?

Cheers
Craig

The oil temp sender on mine was just above the oil filter it had a grey rubber sheath on it
This is where i have plumbed in my remote oil pressure/temp kit in to i have also fitted the original oil temp sender because it talks to the ECU

If you pm your email address i will send pics

Cheers Jerry!

Both my laptops ahve died last week so have not been able to look at hondata but was unsure whether oil temp was on there or not as I could not find the oil temp sender.

Yeah I had already located the oil pressure switch but it does not seem to be connected to my ecu as it terminates from the engine harness plug without entering the ecu, I was under the assumption that this was not connected to the mil

I didn't think there is an oil temp sender on the engine..... I don't recall adding the wiring for one, when I extended my loom - all I remember is the pressure switch.
