Obviously just for shows like *wink*
As others have said, really don't want a pull so will stick with what I have, also pretty much replicates the 1961 No.14 well so not really bothered, but get your point. I have the modern plates in the boot to easily swap if needed (2 screws and they are swapped).

Cheers and thanks for the comments they are appreciated!

Plus I reckon 1000 hours in total bringing the whole lot together. Not including all the various trips to see cars, talk to people and even visit the Ferrari Museum in Italy with camera and ruler! Prep and painting are not included, nor is cost of buying base car, nor is insurance costs, and running costs. Minus the money I got for selling the Z3 parts, so a total of around £1m in my making!

Prep and painting are one of the biggest costs. Don't forget to knock off the cost of parts sold, every little helps.
I would strongly suggest you delete this post, if your wife comes across it you will be sleeping in the garage with the car!

Hi Andy,

So your wheel and tyre configuration is (I think):
Front, Vintage Calibre 17" 8J ET35, 235 x 50
Rear, Vintage Calibre 17" 8J ET35, 235 x 55
Cheers

Cool Meet today

Great to meet JagTVR today share hints/tips and have a look around each others cars, I love the blue colour and the attention to detail with the extra small modifications done to enhance the car particularly on the bodywork, that I don't have the skill set to undertake myself. There are so many things that can be completed in different ways to each owners preference, no 2 cars will ever be the same, which is another thing I love about these builds.

You might just about be able to see in the photos that there is a noticable difference in the height of the front of the 2 cars, Jag's is lower than mine, and gives it a different stance, probably due to the wheel sizes and the adjustment on my coilovers.

@Jag TVR, good to talk and am sure you will make good use of the plastic sheeting! I'll be watch with interest for more progress

Here are some pictures of the 2 cars together:

Thanks for the plastic Andy, it will be put to good use.
The silver on No 14 looks much better in the flesh than it does in a photo, not that it doesn't look good in a photo.

One thing that might help other builders, if you look at the rear reflectors on No14 they look like the Lucas reflectors but are in fact LED lights which act as the rear fog light. Very nice touch on a very nice car.
