Default 3D printed Shelby Cobra !!!

Could this be the future of kitcar fabrication ?

This 3D-printed Cobra took six weeks to design, manufacture and assemble, with the actual printing taking around 24 hours total.

You can also see a video of the whole proccess here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXvIMRklWiM

I'm sure he'd be fine with it, you've just got to go to the right inspector.

I've no problem with printed bodies but a printed chassis? At least with a carbon fibre tub there's a lattice effect with the cross weave but where is the torsional strength in an adhesive based two dimensional layer structure?

Piratebay used to have a section for downloading 3d designs for you 3d printer.
Was a bit limited, they only had 3 designs, 2 dildos and a butt plug!
I think the 3d printing revolution is still a few years away!

Here is another 3D prnted car, the Strati.

The car is printed in carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic.
This Aston Martin is also 3D printed, the same as the one used in the Skyfall James Bond movie.
